Everything Seems Upside Down
† Tenth Sunday After Pentecost † August 02, 2026
Romans 9:1–16 explains that God's saving work depends on His grace, not human effort or ancestry. Using the stories of Isaac and Jacob, St. Paul shows how God consistently fulfills His promises through His own gracious choice. Israel's rejection of Christ did not stop God's plan but became the means by which salvation was extended to the whole world through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
