Welcome to Peace With Christ Lutheran Church!
We’re so glad you’re considering visiting us. Here’s what you can expect when you join us for worship.
Service Times
We offer two worship services each Sunday at 8:00 AM and 10:45 AM.
Our services last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
We love children and welcome children of all ages to attend our worship services. If you prefer, we provide childcare during services for those four years old and younger.
A Church for Everyone.
Family of Believers
People of all ages worship together at Peace With Christ Lutheran Church, from singles, and students to young families with children and longtime members. You’ll find a warm, welcoming community that reflects the breadth of God’s family.
Come as you Are
There’s no dress code at our church. Some people prefer jeans and casual attire, while others choose to wear suits or dresses. We care about your presence, not your clothing.
Traditional Worship Rooted in Scripture.
Liturgical
We are a traditional church that follows the historic liturgy. Throughout our worship service, we speak and sing Scripture, keeping God’s Word at the center of everything we do. Our music director and organist lead us in hymns and sacred music that focus on Christ. We love to sing!
Faithful Preaching
Our Pastor’s sermons are grounded in God’s Law and the joy of the Gospel, drawing directly from Scripture to proclaim God’s truth. This isn’t entertainment or motivational speaking, it’s faithful proclamation of the Word.
Bible Study & Sunday School
Between our two worship services, from 9:30 to 10:30, we gather for learning and fellowship. Our Pastor leads an in-depth Bible study where we dig deeply into Scripture together. It’s a wonderful opportunity for learning and reflection over coffee and treats!
During this same hour, children are invited to our Sunday School classes where kids of all ages can learn about God’s love through interactive lessons and creative activities.
All are welcome to join us, whether you’re exploring God’s Word in our Bible study or your children are discovering it in Sunday School!
The Sacraments.
Holy Communion
The Lord’s Supper is celebrated every Sunday in the confession and glad confidence that, as He says, our Lord gives into our mouths not only bread and wine but His true body and blood to eat and to drink for the forgiveness of sins and to strengthen our union with Him and with one another. Our Lord invites to His table those who trust in His words, repent of all sin, and set aside any refusal to forgive and love as He forgives and loves us, that they may show forth His death until He comes.
Because those who eat and drink our Lord’s body and blood in an inappropriate manner do so to their great harm, and because Holy Communion is a confession of the faith confessed at this congregation’s altar, any who are not yet instructed, in doubt, or who hold a confession of faith differing from that of this congregation and The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod are asked to refrain from receiving the sacrament until they have spoke with the Pastor.
Baptism
We believe that Baptism is a “means of grace” through which God, by water in His mighty Word, calls people (including infants and little children) into His Church or family, giving them the new birth of faith, and forgiving them all their sins.
